Overview
(***NOTE: EMBELLISHMENT AHEAD***) Long ago, when Exuberance wasn't so old, there was a young Jaxsen who enjoyed frolicking with the other Jaxsens in the fields of Westfall. However, this young Jaxsen was different from the others - he had magical powers. Unlike the other Jaxsens, this Jaxsen knew how to formulate words that could be easily interpreted as semi-intelligent conversation and communication. While the other Jaxsens were learning to blend in with Murlocs and Furbolgs to scavenge their food stores, this Jaxsen was attempting communication with said species and often went hungry or nearly killed. But, one day, a massive plague of Zhuangzies, Garntoggles, Patrikswayzies and Rahlars would sweep over the land, wiping out all Jaxsens along with huge populations of Murlocs and Furbolgs. The Murlocs and Furbolgs were able to repopulate, but it seemed all was lost for the Jaxsens. Little did the Zhuangzies, Garntoggles, Patrikswayzies, and Rahlars know, however, there was one Jaxsen who survived - The Last Jaxsen
Early Adventuring
At first life was hard for The Last Jaxsen. For an amount of time, he was alone in the world. He knew if he didn't want to suffer the same fate as his cousins, he would have to follow his natural instinct of blending in. With the help of Patrikswayze, The Last Jaxsen was accepted into the ranks of Exuberance - a guild with which Jaxsen shared four of the six letters in his name.
A Pirate's Life for He
Life was good. Exuberance was growing and The Last Jaxsen was becoming somewhat of a celebrity. His past forgotten, Jaxsen found it increasingly easier to blend in with the population. His dreams were no longer filled with the tormented screams of his brethren. To Jaxsen, his memories were but distant images - faint feelings of déjà vu. Still, he couldn't help but feel as if something was missing and it was in the form of The Endless Sails Venture Co. that he saw an opportunity to find himself on the open seas. His time with the Endless Sails meant his departure with Exuberance. He was sorely missed by all who knew him, but the high seas called. With his crew and his ship The Jellybean The Last Jaxsen was now Captain Jaxsen, terror of the twenty-three seas. His days were filled with adventure and excitement unlike any he'd known, fraught with loot, danger, and exotic damsels in distress that would always seem to leave him with the tide. Yet the good times weren't meant to last. In the midst of the fiercest tempest Captain Jaxsen had ever faced, his crew mutinied upon him. He was cast overboard, but what the crew did not know was that they truly spared him from a fate worse than death, for they were given up as sacrifice to the sea. Kept afloat with a lone piece of The Jellybean's hull, Captain Jaxsen would eventually come to land on the shores of Stranglethorn Vale where he would return to a former life.
Return of the Jaxsen
And so it came to be that Jaxsen, after what seemed like an eternity at sea, had arrived once more on land; Stranglethorn Vale - never was there a more wretched place for scum and villainy in all of Azeroth. It was here in this hive of crime that Jaxsen would run into an unlikely group of adventurers - Zhuangzi, Garntoggle, Patrikswayze and Rahlar. They each tempted him with wealth beyond his imagination if he would kneel before them as a humble servant. However, Jaxsen had a different proposal - a battle to the death. Should they win, Jaxsen would forever boast their superiority, but should they lose, Jaxsen would be allowed back into Exuberance. And with these terms, battle ensued. Jaxsen fought fiercely, but he could not bring himself to kill his allies. The four were grateful for Jaxsen's mercy and in the end Jaxsen accepted their humbled invitations back into their ranks. From that point forward, Jaxsen would always remain an Exuber at heart despite any times he may not have been guilded or even in the realm, because Exuberance is more than just a guild - it's a state of mind.
